This piece evokes aspects of “nature” and questions what that might be.  In an ever- and always already-moderated world, nostalgia and sentimentality are pernicious reactions to references to the “natural” world and its utopias. While the video monitors display images that at first glance seem familiar, within each are hints of the uncanny.
