California Video at the Getty Institute
The Getty Institute has acquired the archive of video art that put the Long Beach Museum of Art on the international map during the 1970s and 1980s. This will mean that irreplaceable works of video will be cleaned, transferred and saved. The exhibition, “California Video” is on view now. I’m thrilled to have Tech-Knowledge included; completed in 1984, this piece will also be included in a DVD anthology of works produced at its production facility, to be released by The Experimental Television Centre.
